H. E. Mohamed Elkhatib – Commercial Counselor of Egypt met on January 09, 2019, with Mr. Marco Barro, CEO of Belnatur company for dried fruits. Mrs. Silvana Saravia, President of the Ecowas chamber of commerce in Brazil and Mr. Rodrigo Maneras, Vice President of the chamber.
The meeting was at the headquarters of the company in Jundiai where a presentation of the company and its activities was displayed and a guided tour of the factory was organized.
The meeting aimed at discussing means of cooperation with the company including exporting dried tropical fruits from Brazil& importing Egyptian fresh fruits to be processed and marketed in Brazil.
The company will be also participating in the trade mission of ECOWAS chamber to Egypt in October alongside FARA conference.
The company is looking for a partner in Egypt whether a distributor or a buyer for its franchise or technology.
Participation in Cairo international fair in March was also discussed.
