According to Ordinance CC-PR/MJSP/MINFRA/MS No. 419, published on August 26, 2020, the restriction on foreign travelers entering Brazil by air has been revoked. Foreigners who enter the country by air, for a stay of up to 90 days, must present to the airline, before boarding, proof of purchase of a health insurance valid in Brazil (in Portuguese or English), with coverage for the entire period of the trip and for a minimum amount of R$ 30.000,00. If the passenger fails to present the health insurance, he/she may be prevented from entering Brazilian territory by the migratory authorities.
The restriction on the entry of foreigners by land or waterway is maintained for an additional period of 30 days (exceptions apply).
